The Experience, Emeryville: Emeryville Citizens Assistance Program

The Experience Emeryville SNAP Relief Food Drive: 2 Days left! 201 students in the Emeryville Unified School District are currently not receiving their SNAP benefits. The City of Emeryville  partnered with ECAP and other community partners to support our community until SNAP money benefits are restored.  The City is asking you to jump in and help. Here's what you can do: Collect non-perishable food for the Food Drive Wednesday, November 5 – Friday, November 14 Canned Goods: Chicken, tuna, luncheon meat, tomatoes, vegetables, legumes, and similar items. Shelf-Stable Items: Milk (shelf-stable), rice, canola or olive oil, dry beans, oats, cereal, pasta, pasta sauce, stock or broth, bouillon, peanut butter, and other pantry staples.       2. Donate to ECAP – DONATE  NOTE: write EUSD in the ‘write a note’ section       3. Drop off non-perishable food at these locations:  City Hall Lobby – 1333 Park Ave

Thanks to support from the Alameda County Food Bank, Trader Joes, Pak 'N' Save, Target and others, ECAP is poised to deliver, but they need the support of the community to help distribute food. They have openings for two-hour volunteer shifts, to sort and distribute food to those in need
