The Experience, Alameda: The Park Street Tavern Summer

The Experience:

A light early supper treat + more!

Step out of the heat and into our fave Alameda tavern to delight in a light salad for a late afternoon or early supper.

It’s fresh and locally sourced. Their Greek Salad is loaded with juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, red onion, baby arugula, and plenty of feta. A favorite flavor in a Greek Salad to many of us is the way the feta enhances the essence of all the greens and vegetables.

Other salads on the menu include:

  • Wedge Salad – Iceberg lettuce with bacon and bleu cheese dressing
  • Beet Salad – Ruby beets over arugula, fresh shaved fennel, strawberry, feta mousse, toasted pistachios with a strawberry vinaigrette
  • Greek Cobb Salad – Grilled chicken, bacon, feta, tomatoes, red onion, and kalamata olives over mixed greens
  • And a Classic Caesar Salad

And then if you actually want a little more, you have so much to choose from – starters, entrees, sides or dessert!

These ‘tastes’ can complement your salad:

  • CalamariCrispy fried calamari with onion petals. lemon garlic aioli and cocktail sauce
  • Grilled Halloumi CheeseOver a bed of arugula, cherry tomatoes. and pita with a lemon caper sauce
  • Pancetta-Wrapped Prawns GFServed over a bed of baby arugula drizzled with a lemon beurre blanc
  • LoukanikoLocally made Greek sausage served with tzatziki and pita bread
  • Meatballs Meatballs in a roasted tomato sauce
  • Spanakopita Spinach and feta pie in filo dough
  • And more! Plus, they have a to-die-for decadent chocolate cake.

And have a glass of wine or a cocktail. Fans rave about their Alameda Gold Rush cocktail – Redemption High Rye Bourbon, Greek Wildflower Honey, Fresh Lemon and a Touch of Cinnamon. Have fun! They can’t wait to serve you!
