The Experience, Richmond: East Brother Beer Co Pride + Purpose Day
The Experience: Celebrate what makes Richmond strong! Pride + Purpose Day is more than a taproom event—it’s a celebration of Richmond. Friday, April 18th, the crew at East Brother is opening their doors and hearts for their Second Annual Pride + Purpose Day—an afternoon of good beer, great food and giving back to the community they call home. From 3–9pm, 10% of all taproom sales will go to Richmond Promise, a nonprofit working to ensure every Richmond student has a pathway to higher education. You can invest in the next generation of leaders, dreamers and changemakers. Between sips of award-winning beer and bites from Mr. Dim Sum, you can connect with the Richmond Promise team from 5–6pm and learn about their work. While there try their latest Seasonals Series Begian Tripel. They teamed up with Admiral Maltings to create this golden ale that delivers aromatic spice, fruity esters and a crisp, dry finish – all backed by Admirals’s locally malted barley.

The Experience: It's a 'save the dogs’ weekend! First off, on Saturday, April 12, from 12-6pm, enjoy Alameda Punks Parade Vol 7. It’s a Craft Faire and Rocket Dog Rescue Fundraiser: 60 Unique Vendors Draft beer Food trucks & On-site pet adoptions Live Music from: Hot Laundry Normal Weirds Hyperdrive Kittens A Million Miles Away Screaming Creatures Acoustricurt Food Trucks: Aburaya Gabba Gabba Pizza Lion Dance Cafe All Ages. $5 And then on Sunday, April 13, there’s a Singles Mingle from 3-7pm with Oakland Animal Services PUP-UP from 3-5pm!

The Experience Bay Break Gayme Night! It's tonight on the Bay Break Dining Terrace. Bring your friends to Bay Break Terrace's Second Thursdays' Gayme Night, hosted by Fishnets & Film – straight-up fun, with a queer twist! A fun outdoor setting and the Terrace is full of great restaurants: Flores Cocina + Bar, Shake Shack, Arthur Mac’s, Pippal Regional Indian, Humphry Slocombe, Uchiwa Ramen and Saucy Asian. FIre pits and cozy lounge areas. Get your gayme on! The Experience: Get Fired up! Spring has sprung and Richmond Art Center is excited to offer new metal arts demos, studio orientations and workshops showcasing their Jewelry and Metals Studio. Whether you're a practicing metal artist or a beginner, you’ll find new ways to learn and experiment with jewelry and metalsmithing tools at RAC. Are you a metals artist looking for studio space? Attend our Jewelry & Metals Studio Orientations to learn about studio safety and use. This prerequisite workshop will then qualify you to register for Open Studio sessions. (Beginner students are welcome at these sessions also!) New to metal art and jewelry making? Sign up for a range of beginner-friendly workshops to start your metal arts journey.
