The Experience: Pups and Brews! Oakland Animal Services (OAS) is Pupping Up on Sunday August 3rd from 3-5pm! Meet adoptable dogs, learn about OAS’ many programs and enjoy some brews! Featured here is Timber, a 1-year-old, 50-pound Siberian Husky mix with the calm soul of an old friend and the impeccable manners of a seasoned companion. Though still young, Timber has a quiet confidence and gentle nature that make him feel wise beyond his years. More details here. The Experience: Zinfandel: An Exclusive Wine Tasting Journey Tuesday is happening down on the water! Join Lara and her crew for an exclusive evening of elegance and festivity at their Tuesday Wine Tasting on August 5th, from 5-7pm. Mingle with fellow wine enthusiasts and learn about this grape together. Zinfandel is known for its bold, fruity flavors and spicy notes. This red wine is loved for its jammy red and black fruit flavors like blackberry, raspberry and cherry, often accompanied by hints of exotic spices, pepper, anise and clove. Zinfandels can range from light and fruity to bold and rich. Some wineries also make a White Zinfandel. Wine tasting is $15 cash. Your participation supports a noble cause, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Soroptimist and RPAL.
