The Experience, Alameda: Rhythmix Cultural Works Rising Seas

The Experience: Calling all artists! Our friends at Rhythmix Cultural Works (RCW) are seeking artists working in visual arts, movement, music, spoken word, and more, with an environmental focus to lead interactive workshops on climate change. These workshops will host 20-25 seniors, families or formerly unhoused residents at one of three Alameda Housing Authority (AHA) locations. Fluency in Korean, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus but not required. Workshops will take place between April and May 2025, leading up to Rising Seas performances on May 31, June 21, and July 12. Artists will also be asked to provide creative hands-on activities for at least one of these live events.
