The Experience, Emeryville: Bay St Emeryville New Restaurant
The Experience Bay St Emeryville welcomes Mumu Hot Pot! Mumu Hot Pot had its long-awaited soft opening on Friday, May 3, letting diners freely experience the enticing flavors of Asian cuisine in a relaxed dining environment. Make this your weekend stop. You have lots of choices! Choose from unique soup base options like Tom Yum, Sukiyaki, Sichuan Spicy or Creamy Tomato, then add a variety of fresh ingredients cooked tableside. You can pair the hot pot with one of 14 craft beers, house cocktails or specialty teas. Next door, the restaurant is opening Mumu’s Tea, where shoppers can sip on cold boba tea while hanging out at the property.

The Experience: Kick back on the water! At the end of your long day, head down to the Bay and the lounge at Trader Vic’s for drinks and a taste of the world! You will be transformed by the tiki madness and soothed by the views of the boats in the marina and beyond. Decades ahead of his time, Vic ‘The Trader’ Bergeron chose to offer Chinese dishes alongside the then-contemporary Continental cuisine, creating maybe the original fusion menu. Today, Trader Vic's continues the tradition and still uses the Chinese Wood-fired Ovens featuring dishes from the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Asia, and Japan. And, as we all know, Trader Vic’s claims to be home to the original Mai Tai. The Experience, Richmond: Maya Taqueria Tacos
The Experience: Tacos or Burritos?! Tough decision. But when you walk in, their friendly staff will help you decide. Maya is known for its carne asada tacos, featured here, but everything is delicious and extremely flavorful. Fans also rave about their chicken, pastor, shrimp and fish tacos. They do not disappoint. If you like slaw and crema on your fish tacos, this is the place. Tiny as it is, efficiency and quality is big. On the other side of the menu are the burritos. Top of the list are the butternut squash burrito and carnitas burrito. Some regulars favor the pollo burritos. Maya chicken salad is always a big hit and a great option when you want to eat lighter. Vegetarians have options - veggie tacos, butternut squash burritos and more! Try the tortas and you won’t regret it
