The Experience: Fresh beer + three hours of free acoustic roots + blues! We've got  you covered for Friday night fun. Join the folks at Alameda Island Brewing on Friday night from 6-9pm for tunes by John Rybak + Friends.. According to undiscovered music website, John Rybak + Friends are: "Deeply rooted and well-versed in American roots music and early southern blues John + Friends will take you on a musical road trip across the country with feel-good songs of substance and integrity." Bring your friends, grab a bite to eat at local nearby eateries and get down to the taproom on Friday, August 30. And chill! They can't wait to see you! The Experience: East Brother beer in Japan! On Tuesday, August 27, Deputy Consul General Kishimori at the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, delivered remarks at a ceremony hosted by the US Commercial Service to recognize East Brother Beer Company’s achievement in beginning export sales from Richmond to Japan. Guests included representatives from Congressman Garamendi’s office, the City and Port of Richmond, and members of the Richmond-Shimada Friendship Commission, organizers of people-to-people exchanges between the US and Japan for 63 years and counting.
