The Experience, Alameda: Almanac Beer Co. Offerings
The Experience:
A vacation close to home!
With six unique gathering spaces, each with its own vibe, Almanac is a vacation close to home. And there’s tons of parking, which in itself is a vacation!
Kids can dive into fun with their sandboxes, slushies, pinball machines and classic arcade games, while adults can savor world-class, award-winning beer and delicious food options, including pizza, sandos, burgers, salads and vegetarian dishes. Featured here is Scolari’s Burger with bacon, blue cheese and blueberries, if you can imagine.
Once you’ve decided on food, grab a beer to your liking – for light beers there’s Crispy Girl, a Czech Pilsner or if you want something hoppy there’s Overcast or Big Love or Flow – a west coast IPA. Like fruity? Try Sunshine & Opportunity, a Sour with Triple Strawberry & Dragonfruit.
Here’s whose cooking this weekend both Saturday and Sunday.
- Crazy Block Cheesecake
- Marley G’s Pizza
- O’toole’s Fire & Spice
- Scolari’s Good Eats
So grab your friends and take a break out at Alameda Point. The crew at Almanac can’t wait to see you.

The Experience, Emeryville: Wondrous Brewing January Brew
The Experience:
Fresh Emeryville beer to start your year!
January started out all about what’s new on tap. Wondrous Brewing’s 2nd batch of ‘Wonder Cut’ is a West Coast IPA 6.4% abv, hopped with Citra, Idaho 07, Nelson & Mosaic, is now on tap. They were just feeling this hop combo on brew day and went with it! Mega fresh fruit and dank citrus on the nose, with the classic, punchy West Coast hop flavor and dry, resinous finish we all love.
They also tapped the final keg in existence of their first ever Barrel Aged Barleywine release ‘When the Poet Dies’. So, get down to your local craft brewery and have a taste or two.
And for those of you who enjoyed their Wondrous Hell beer at the 2024 Celebration of the Arts Opening Night at Public Market – just want you to know that they won the Bronze Award for Wondrous Hell in the category of International Light Lager at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival!
Hang in their fun outside patio where you’ll find community and dogs are welcome. You can order from Los Moles, Good to Eat Dumplings, KYU2 or Rotten City Pizza – all close by.
