About DJ Magic

Michael Galindo (AKA DJ “Magic” Mike) is a Latin Genre DJ. Growing up in Hayward and Richmond, Michael was fascinated with music so much that at age 14 he acquired his first stereo system and began his journey of collecting over 10 speakers to play music loud enough so that when people from school passed by his home, they could enjoy some of his tunes. Once he was introduced to Salsa classes, he was hooked. In 2015 he debuted as a salsa DJ at La Playa SF aka Fort One and from what started out as a fun time filling in for a friend, lead to Michael becoming one of the top Bachata DJ’s in the Bay Area.

Covid Protocol

Please have your ID and one of the following things with you when you come to Riggers Loft:

1) Your Covid Vaccination Card

2) A digital copy of your proof of vaccination on your phone

3) A negative Covid test administered within the last 72 hours of coming to Riggers Loft

“We are looking forward to a really nice celebration on Friday evening! We all certainly need it and deserve it. Given all the craziness with Omicron and the rise in cases, we are (as we always have done since the beginning of the pandemic) taking our Covid precautions seriously. My bet is almost everyone knows of someone who is vaccinated and has gotten a breakthrough infection. Omicron is clearly more transmissible than Delta. We want to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep all of us safe while we celebrate.

Please be aware of the following:

1) Please make sure you have a valid ID (driver’s license) and proof of vaccination and be ready to present it at the door when you arrive.

2) Make sure you have your mask! Contra Costa County’s mask mandate is in full force for indoor gatherings. Please make sure you keep yours on at all times.

You may take your mask off only when you are seated at your own table, and are actively eating and or drinking.
However, when you leave your table, don your mask.
When walking around the winery, to the bathroom…wear your mask.
When dancing to DJ Magic, wear your mask.
When ordering wine or food, wear your mask.
