You are invited to a Terpene Tournament at Ohana Cannabis on June 6 from 6-10pm. “What’s that,” you might ask. Join them and learn about terpenes by participating in a terpene tasting.

Terpenes are highly aromatic compounds that contribute to the scents of many plants and herbs, such as rosemary and lavender. Terpenes also include the primary constituents of essential oils.

With cannabis, these fragrant compounds contribute to the aromas of different strains as well as the entire experience. Here’s what to expect at the terpene tasting tournament:

Step into the aroma arena and take your senses on a ride! You will be able to blind taste some of the finest terpenes California has to offer! Through various consumption forms you will be transported into the wonders of terpenes and be able to savor the flavor. Take this opportunity to gain knowledge and apply it to your daily life – from cooking in the kitchen to choosing a fragrance.

It will be a fun evening with music, comedy, Carribean Food Truck, Cannabis cocktails and a chance to win great prizes.

The tasting is inside of Ohana Cannabis dispensary with the educational seminar inside Café Rack next door and fun spilling out onto the patio on the Emeryville Greenway. Attendees will receive a 25% disount on purchases at Café Rack.

The blind tasting is a benefit for Medical Cannabis by Tony Bowles Consulting and Kind Philanthropy. Evening sponsors include Ohana Cannabis, Chiefing (the first Native American-owned cannabis co), Tony Bowles Consulting & Kind Philanthropy.
