The Experience, Emeryville: Townhouse Sunday Brunch

The Experience:

French Toast or the Huevos Rancheros?

Give yourself a break this Sunday and make a reservation for brunch. The Townhouse kitchen crew is cooking up some of your favorites. And the patio beckons you outdoors to enjoy the beginning of long summer days .

You may want to dive into Chef Mike’s Shrimp and Grits – Gulf prawns, andouille sausage gravy, charred cherry tomatoes and cheddar grits. Or the Buttermilk Brined Fried Chicken & Waffle with fresh berries and real maple syrup. Yum. There’s a Salmon Croquette Benedict, Veggie Quiche, the infamous Townhouse Hash and even a Bootlegger Breakfast, reminiscent of the Townhouse’s checkered past.

Bar Specialties include Alex’s Bloody Mary – made with love, the Hemingway Daiquiri, an Espresso Martini and more! They serve Ghost Town’s great IPAs and East Brother’s award-winning Bo Pils on tap, along with other local craft beer, wines and bubbly. Sunday Brunch at the Townhouse truly has something for everyone in your group.

Reservations are recommended and let them know your preference for seating, though not guaranteed.  Call them now. They can’t wait to see you! (510) 652-6151.  PS Don’t forget Live Jazz Thursday evenings 6:30-9pm.

The Experience, Emeryville: Bay St Emeryville Copper & Malt

The Experience:

Flights of Wine + Chocolate anyone?

Emeryville has its own Brewery – wonderful Wondrous Brewing and now, its own Wine Bar.

Walk into newly opened Copper & Malt at Bay St and Somms (Sommeliers) will guide you through an extraordinary wine tasting that you can even pair with chocolate. And besides the wine bar in this shop, every spirit here has a story.

“We like to tell the stories behind our wines and spirits,” says co-owner Ashley Sandhu. “Our Somms, each with 35 years’ experience, curated our wine experience with a mix of domestic and international wines.” Love the buttery chardonnays? They’ve got one for you. Don’t love the buttery chardonnays, they have a French chardonnay for you. And more. Shelves boast unique beers from around the globe. Grab a beer, come sit at the bar and explore that country.

Look around and you will see that Copper & Malt is also a lovely gift shop. Something for everyone in your life. Artisan chocolates with single ingredient origins. International beers, wines from around the globe, California, Oregon and more. Top shelf spirits and cigars. Unique non-alcoholic beverages. They worked hard on sourcing these special offerings.

Prior to opening their dream shop, Ashley and husband Harparam Sandhu produced a health enhancing sparkling beverage called Skin H2O. Delicious and refreshing with the secret health enhancing ingredient in red wine, without the alcohol – Resveratrol!

Get down to Bay St for your very own wine journey and perhaps do some shopping. They look forward to starting a conversation!

The Experience, Emeryville: Emeryville Commerce Connection Event

The Experience:

Tiki madness at the Emeryville Connexions event!

View Emeryville from the water on the deck at Trader Vic’s as you indulge in tasty bites and sip Mai Tais, beer or wine, learn about your new business organization and meet some of the marina businesses.

We are excited to invite you to Trader Vic’s on Wed, May 29, 5:30-7:30pm and introduce you to the ECC, Emeryville Commerce Connection.

The Back Story. As you may know, no one has come forward to start a business organization since the Emeryville Chamber closed its doors 8 ½ years ago. In 2018 the City of Emeryville’s EDAC (Economic Development Advisory Committee) initiated our BizNexus networking events to begin connecting the business community.

Organically, our BizNexus events evolved into the nonprofit 501 (c)(6) organization, the ECC, with the purpose of promoting the common economic interests of its members and the commercial enterprises in Emeryville. Now, the ECC will be producing the networking events, act as a resource & referral network, provide workforce development, a communications platform and promote the City of Emeryville and its business community.

Join us for some fun conversations and nosh on appetizers from the Tahitian Collection as you see old friends and meet new ones.  We at the ECC can’t wait to see you!

Trader Vic’s is located at 9 Anchor Dr in Emeryville. The Emery Go-Round can transport you there!  RSVP
