Five new releases for the end of summer!

Stop by Faction and stock up on these fresh beers. And while you are there, enjoy the day. Your fave food trucks will be hanging around!

  • Black Hoodie Lager – Their German-style Schwarzbier, aka Black Lager. Silver Medal at World Beer Cup 2023. Dark, smooth, and dangerously drinkable. [5%]
  • Pale 586 – This West Coast Pale Ale is hopped with the experimental HBC 586 cryo and pellets. Gold at World Beer Cup 2024 & 2023, Bronze at GABF 2022 – and they say they’re not stopping there. [5.8%]
  • Faction Red – A hoppy red ale that’s got Cascade, Centennial & Simcoe in its DNA. Rich, robust, and ready to rock your taste buds. [5.8%]
  • And on top of these three new brews, they are offering up fresh batches of 1970’s Lager and A-Town Pale.

We’ve got  you covered for Friday night fun. Join the folks at Alameda Island Brewing on Friday night from 6-9pm for tunes by John Rybak + Friends..

According to undiscovered music website, John Rybak + Friends are: “Deeply rooted and well-versed in American roots music and early southern blues John + Friends will take you on a musical road trip across the country with feel-good songs of substance and integrity.”

Bring your friends, grab a bite to eat at local nearby eateries and get down to the taproom on Friday, August 30. And chill!

They can’t wait to see you! They’ve been crafting island-inspired brews in Alameda since 2015.

The Experience, Alameda: The Preacher’s Daughter Wine Bar & Bistro Salad

The Experience:

Tasty Wedge Salad & a glass of wine, anybody?!

Before the summer ends, you have to try their unique wedge salad. It’s made with lettuce, eggs, cotija cheese, pickled onion, tomato, tortilla chips, and topped with their homemade cilantro-lime dressing. Add bacon or chicken! (photo below)

If you are more in the mood for a sandwich, they have some outstanding fare, including a BL-TEA – Bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg, avocado with shallot aioli. Yum.

Have you been to their Happy Hour yet? The great thing is that they give you four hours to be happy, not just one. Tues – Friday, 2-6pm.  HH price for Guacamole & Chips is only $6. And they have housemade chips! Or you can order from the main menu: Char Board – Selection of Cured Meats,  Cornichon, Seasonal Jam, cheese, fresh fruit, crackers or Focaccia – Tomato Pesto, Arugula, Garlic Olive Oil, Fresh Mozzarella.

Choose 3 entrées, each including 2 portions plus 1 Salad & 1 Focaccia per entrée. Package Price: only $80 (or $13.33 per meal) Order by Friday, August 16 and pick it up on Tuesday, August 20 or have it delivered to you and you are set!
