Unwind with  their Purple Rain Drop. This delightful Empress 1908 Gin Lemon Drop is a vibrant burst of flavor as you relax at their beautiful illuminated bar. And maybe have an appetizer or a dessert. Fans rave about their chocolate decadent cake topped with berries.

Dive into their menu, which is influenced by Greek and Italian traditions, offering lots of appetizers including pancetta wrapped prawns and Spanakopita,  soups and salads, lots of entrees including your favorite cuts, seafood and pasta, All made with fresh local ingredients.

You can always stop by the lounge, with the welcoming vibe of a neighborhood bar, for some small bites & your fav from the wine or cocktail list. They offer a selection of Greek, Italian and California wines, as well as craft cocktails, local and imported beers and sodas made right here in Alameda.

This unique wine bar & café named in honor of the owner Dianah Rodriguez’s father, welcomes you in a beautifully restored building. Join them for Happy Hour weekdays from 3-6pm. The Experience, Alameda: Rhythmix Cultural Works Rising Seas

The Experience:

Calling all artists!

Our friends at Rhythmix Cultural Works (RCW) are seeking artists working in visual arts, movement, music, spoken word, and more, with an environmental focus to lead interactive workshops on climate change.

These workshops will host 20-25 seniors, families or formerly unhoused residents at one of three Alameda Housing Authority (AHA) locations. Fluency in Korean, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus but not required.

Workshops will take place between April and May 2025, leading up to Rising Seas performances on May 31, June 21, and July 12. Artists will also be asked to provide creative hands-on activities for at least one of these live events.

Selected artists may be invited to exhibit in RCW’s K Gallery (June–August). A $500 stipend will be provided per workshop (stipend amount is inclusive of materials fees).

Application deadline is extended until tomorrow, March 7th.

Rising Seas is a site-specific multidisciplinary series of free live performances and public art events designed to increase awareness of the impact of rising sea levels and climate change on the island of Alameda. Artist-led workshops and performances are intended to engage people in imagining a better future and provide a sense of hope through community dialogue and action.

The Alameda Rock & Roll Flea Market returns to Faction Brewing on Sunday, March 2nd, 11am-6pm with an all-surf line-up, vendors, craft beer and fantastic food!

SHOP. Peruse 75 vendors selling records, music memorabilia, instruments, vintage clothing, tiki/Hawaiiana, handmade jewelry, books, and more.
