The Experience, Alameda: Faction Brewing Co Autumn Bliss

The Experience:

Harvest Season just hit the taps! Brews, Fundraising + Salsa.

Brews:

Treat yourself to Faction’s Harvest IPA – a fresh hop IPA brewed with just-picked Mosaic hops straight from Coleman Agriculture, and a ‘wet/dry’ hop combo with HBC 586 from Perrault Farms. According to the brewery crew, it’s packing that perfect punch of fresh, juicy hop goodness [6.9%]. So, skip the pumpkin spice and grab a pint of the real fall flavor.

On another note: Meet Commando 450: A West Coast IPA powered by a triple threat of Nelson, Galaxy, and Mosaic hops [6.7%]. This brew means business and is available in cans! It’s bold, it’s daring, and it’s ready to take your beer game to the next level. Ready to hop into something different? This one’s calling your name.

Happenings:

Tonight, Thurs, Oct 24 at Faction: It’s Hops for Hunger from 5-7pm. Drink good, do good!  Faction and Super Mario’s are  teaming up with the Alameda Food Bank to support families in need. The Experience, Alameda: The Park Street Tavern Specials

The Experience:

Tavern Specials + Mediterranean Classics

Did you know that Park St Tavern is always showcasing something ‘special’ each day. Sometimes it’s the fresh catch of the day and sometimes a special house-made pasta dish. Be sure to ask about the specials.

Feel conflicted between seafood and pasta? Try their special Fettuccine Seafood Garlic Alfredo with prawns and scallops!

Some of their  Mediterranean favorites: The Orzo and Salmon is served with baby spinach, mushrooms and roasted tomatoes in a vodka garlic sauce and the Homemade Gnocchi with Pesto is made with a pesto sauce with mushrooms and roasted cherry tomatoes. Another big hit, the Lamb Paidakia is a Greek marinated and grilled lamb chop served with a hot Greek potato salad with roasted red potatoes, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, arugula and crispy polenta.

And you can always stop by the lounge, with the welcoming vibe of a neighborhood bar, for some small bites & your fav from the wine or cocktail list. Fans rave about their newly remodeled bar! Hours: Daily 4-9pm. Bar opens at 4pm. Dinner at 5pm. They look forward to seeing you! (510) 671-2867
