The first live gig since the shutdown for Conspiracy of Beards is at one member’s home, Point San Pablo Harbor, as part of the harbor’s Live on the Waterfront series. Conspiracy of Beards is a 30 member male choir performing dynamic, original, a cappella arrangements of the poetic songs of Leonard Cohen.

Conspiracy of Beards is sharing the evening with their friends We Are the West, who are joining them from Santa Monica.  Their music is rich, original, and heartfelt. Perfect for sundown at the harbor.

Bring a blanket or folding chairs and come early to  enjoy the sunset with wood fired pizza and drinks. Kids under 12 free. ‘Nice’ dogs allowed. If you haven’t visited the Harbor or been to their outdoor series, this is your chance. And Thursday evening promises to be warm and still.

Anaviv’s Table will be serving their great wood-fired pizza, rice bowls and local beer and wine.

Trained as a music therapist, she promotes healing through music.

So, what is it about the 2017 Maestoso Mourvêdre that makes it such a find? In music,  Maestoso means to perform in a stately, dignified manner. This wine is all of that and more.

Made from 95% Mourvêdre, 2% Petite Sirah and 3% Zinfandel from Lovett Vineyard in Lake County, Maestoso has the structure and rich fruit that lives up to its name. The fruit is red-berry driven suggesting Montmorency cherries and ripe strawberries and luscious stone fruits. There is a hint of earthiness and then a dark, rich fruit profile emerges, mixed with exotic spice and herbal notes: a complex and regal wine indeed.
