Chef Extraordinaire, Frank Miller and Winemakers Kevin & Barbara Brown of R&B Cellars have planned a special evening for you. Each course is thoughtfully paired with an award-winning wine, including two very special Napa Valley library wines!

Valentine’s Menu for Monday, February 14

FIRST COURSE

AMUSE-GUEULE (amuse-bouche)

•  Chef’s Choice Assorted Appetizer plate
• Paired with Roulade en Rosé (Rosé of Mourvèdre)

SECOND COURSE – choice of

COQUILLE SAINT JACQUES

• Scallops baked in a white wine cream sauce topped with a heart shaped puff pastry crust
• Paired with the 2019 Reprise Roussanne

ASPARAGUS ARANCINI – balsamic aioli sauce

• Fried asparagus risotto balls stuffed with fresh mozzarella and four cheeses
• Paired with the 2019 Reprise Roussanne

THIRD COURSE – salad course 

PETIT WEDGE SALAD

• Romaine lettuce wedge topped with applewood bacon, tomatoes, chives, crumbled blue cheese, blue cheese dressing served with fine herb flatbread
• Paired with a Blanc de Blanc Méthode Champenoise

FOURTH COURSE – choice of

SALMON EN CROUTE – shrimp mousse and lobster sauce 

• Baked fresh salmon stuffed with shrimp mousse, wrapped in puff pastry crust served with lobster sauce
• Paired with 2010 Napa Valley Zydeco Zinfandel (Library Wine!)

GRILLED NEW YORK STEAK & SHRIMP SCAMPI

• Prime New York steak grilled, served with garlic, lemon butter sautéed
• Paired with 2004 Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet (Library Wine – Superb Vintage!)

DESSERT

• PASSION FRUIT MOUSSE with Chocolate Bags– crème anglaise sauce 
• Paired with a Rosé Méthode Champenoise

Meet Chef Frank Miller

What’s cooking at Riggers Loft?

Besides all their great wines – a wood-fired pizza oven, a smoker, and a grill in an outdoor kitchen run by Chef Frank Miller. He’ll be serving up a variety of pizzas, including a gluten-free flatbread option. Shared plates include Baked Angel Hair Pasta-Italian Mac & Cheese, Spicy Louisiana Shrimp Boil, Golden Gate Gabagool & Salami Platter, and more. Sandwiches include Pulled Pork on a brioche bun and a Golden Gate Burger. For dessert you can nosh on some New Orleans Beignets.

Frank has vegan, veggie, and gluten-free options for diet-specific folks. He plans to expand his menu as he is inspired by the beautiful setting on the water. “We promise to keep the menu fresh and exciting,” says Frank. “Don’t forget to come by the kitchen and say hello!”

Frank Miller will be the exclusive food provider for Riggers Loft as he was in the past for Raleigh Studios Hollywood, the Santa Barbara Polo Club, and other studios. Chef Frank Miller’s clients include Grammy award-winning recording artist Mary J. Blige, comedy genius Jim Carrey, Beatles legend Ringo Starr, just to name a few of a long list of stars.

Friday, November 5, 5-8pm – RPM3 Jazz Trio

This highly swinging band is devoted to personalized renditions of jazz classics, standards from the Great American Songbook, and Brazilian gems. The members are Bay Area jazz stalwarts: Jazz guitarist/arranger/composer Tony Corman, bassist Karl Hartmann, and drummer Gerry Kennett.

Saturday November 6, 2-5pm – Norman Collins Band

Norman Collins’ music is a stirring blend of Rock, Blues and Country. He has performed with such luminaries as Jimmy Buffet, John Hiatt and Hank Ballard. Sit back, have a sip, and relax as stories unfold about everyday people and events

Sunday November 7, 2-5pm – Yuppie Liberation Front

Utilizing the current musical paradigm as a backdrop, this contemporary quartet will take you on a journey through space and time back to the very roots of R&B and Jazz, across the United States and Latin America, through the 60’s and 70’s fusion of Funk and Rock and to the modern sounds of Stretch
