The Experience:

Discover the Artistic Kaleidoscope of Emeryville!

This diverse collection features a multitude of mediums, styles, perspectives and powerful expressions, capturing the heart and soul of our community.

Meet Sarah Kobrinsky, Poet Laureate of Emeryville (2013-2015), and immerse yourself in an afternoon of artistry and inspiration.

On Sunday, October 26, from 2 – 4pm, experience an unforgettable closing event—an evening of soul-stirring Poetry and Jazz. Enjoy the mesmerizing melodies of Ryan Pate and Dillon Vado, complemented by captivating poetry from participants of the Ekphrastic Workshop led by Sarah Kobrinsky.

Ekphrastic poetry involves interpreting, inhabiting, and engaging deeply with visual art—speaking to and about the artworks that have been part of the exhibition. Poets who took part in Sarah’s workshop on generative creative writing will share their own ekphrastic pieces inspired by the stunning collection of artworks.

Don’t miss this final chance to experience the synergy of visual, literary, and musical artistry—an evening designed to inspire, provoke, and celebrate the vibrant creativity of Emeryville!
