The Experience:

Zinfandel that tells their story

Welcome to the world of Zin! Grab a friend and get out to Alameda Point to indulge your senses, relax out on their deck sipping Zin as you look out to San Francisco across the Bay. Since 1996, Dashe has  been all in on Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley—and this Reserve is a true standout. Crafted from their favorite vineyard lots and the finest barrels, it’s bold, balanced, and unmistakably ‘Dashe Cellars’. When you taste this wine you will understand why Zinfandel is their flagship for a reason.

To make this special Dry Creek Reserve wine, they selected two of their favorite vineyards from the region and tasted every barrel, selecting only the best for this Reserve wine. It’s a particularly structured and fruit-forward wine, with a significant component of Petite Sirah and Grenache added for complexity.

They’re open Friday–Sunday—come taste it for yourself… and don’t miss the fun on May 16th at The Base is the Place Open House event on Alameda Point where you can enjoy so many of your Alameda Point favorite places.

About

Dashe Cellars is a family-owned artisan winery located in the heart of the Urban Wine Country at Alameda Point. After 15 years in Oakland’s Jack London Square district, Dashe Cellars moved to Spirits Alley on the old Naval Airbase in Alameda, CA.

They focus on crafting wines with a distinctive sense of place and look for that perfect balance of steep hillside vineyards, older vines, and vigor-reducing growing conditions.

Founded by Michael and Anne Dashe, Dashe Cellars crafted its first vintage of Dry Creek Zinfandel in 1996. Since that time, the Dashe’s have focused on producing exceptional, single-vineyard wines using a traditional, non-industrial approach to winemaking
