The Experience, Richmond: East Brother Beer Co. St. Patrick’s Day

The Experience:

Stouts On Our Minds!

With St. Patrick’s Day upon us, we’ve all got Stouts on our mind.

VinePair included East Brother’s Oatmeal Stout in the 12 Best Stouts of 2022 List! ”An exceptional California take on the classic English style, East Brother Beer Co. delivers roasted, nutty complexity with this release. The mouthfeel somehow feels light yet creamy, with bold cocoa flavor complemented by malty, fruity notes.”

And the GOAT is back! While celebrating St. Pat’s you can also grab a pint of this year’s iteration of their Maibock. It has a golden, light pale hue and a deliciously creamy white head; its aroma is slightly floral with just a hint of noble hop spiciness.

This smooth, clean German-style lager has a rich malty backbone balanced with spicy and floral noble hops. At 7.0% ABV, the Maibock is an easy-drinking lager with delicate hop flavors and just enough bitterness at the end to make you want more.

Plan to bring your friends and family on Thursday March 17th!. La Santa Torta Food Truck will be serving up their great tacos and more. (510)-230-4081

The Experience, Richmond: East Brother Beer Co. New Release

The Experience:

Warm up with a Baltic Porter!

It’s always around this time of year when East Brother releases its Baltic Porter to help you ward off the chill of winter. Their classic Baltic Porter has rich and layered malt characteristics; Halcyon, a floor-malted malt, comprises the basis of the malt bill while Crystal, Chocolate and Black malts add flavor and complexity. It’s made with German Lager yeast, offering up rich flavors of plums, cherries and molasses. In keeping with East Brother’s Beer Co.’s classic approach, this Baltic Porter at 8.6% ABV is a smooth, clean-finishing beer that beckons you for more.

Baltic Porter, called an English Porter during its origins, got its humble beginnings in the ports of England where it was favored by the dock workers that loaded and unloaded ships. Stop by East Brother’s taproom and ask about the interesting history of this beer!

Availability: Local retailers, curbside pickup & CA shipping, and served fresh at East Brother Beer Co.’s taproom.
