It’s peaceful looking out over the water and walking down through the marina checking out the vibrantly painted houseboats. By the time you leave, you feel like you have been in a different world, far away from your usual day

Weekend hours: Fri, 11:30am – 8:30pm; Sat/Sun, 11am – 8pm — Brunch Sat/Sun, 11am-4pm (Brunch & Full Menus) and Full Menu 4-8:30pm.

What to expect:

On the water at Pt San Pablo Harbor, a bayside escape to nourish the body and feed the soul awaits. Down at the harbor, you’ll relax with wonderful vistas and the gentle lapping of water. Items from the sea and land and gardens guide the menu. Pizza is baked outside in a wood-fired pizza oven. And, they are serving up regional small batch craft beer and wines.

There are pathways along the water and houseboats, hiking paths up the hill with fantastic views. So many options for you, your family and friends when you visit the Sailing Goat!

East Brother beer in Japan!

On Tuesday, August 27, Deputy Consul General Kishimori at the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, delivered remarks at a ceremony hosted by the US Commercial Service to recognize East Brother Beer Company’s achievement in beginning export sales from Richmond to Japan.

Guests included representatives from Congressman Garamendi’s office, the City and Port of Richmond, and members of the Richmond-Shimada Friendship Commission, organizers of people-to-people exchanges between the US and Japan for 63 years and counting.

Congrats to Rob Lightner and all our friends at East Brother!

Tasty Wedge Salad & a glass of wine, anybody?!

Before the summer ends, you have to try their unique wedge salad. It’s made with lettuce, eggs, cotija cheese, pickled onion, tomato, tortilla chips, and topped with their homemade cilantro-lime dressing. Add bacon or chicken! (photo below)

If you are more in the mood for a sandwich, they have some outstanding fare, including a BL-TEA – Bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg, avocado with shallot aioli. Yum.

Have you been to their Happy Hour yet? The great thing is that they give you four hours to be happy, not just one. Tues – Friday, 2-6pm.  HH price for Guacamole & Chips is only $6. And they have housemade chips! Or you can order from the main menu: Char Board – Selection of Cured Meats,  Cornichon, Seasonal Jam, cheese, fresh fruit, crackers or Focaccia – Tomato Pesto, Arugula, Garlic Olive Oil, Fresh Mozzarella.

Friday Night Blues on the Bay!

You don’t want to miss this one!  Red’s Blues Band – Traditional Blues and Americana/Roots Music. Bring a friend or come by yourself Friday, August 23, 6-9pm. Riggers loft is ready to give you a warm friendly welcome!

Red’s Blues is a four-piece band from Sacramento, California, featuring Beth Reid-Grigsby, aka Sacramento Red, on lead vocals and harmonies, who was inducted into the Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame in September, 2023. With a bass, harmonica, guitar and great vocals, they specialize in traditional blues, as well as a lot of original Americana/Roots music, and have been twice nominated for a SAMMIE award for best blues band in the NorCal region.

Reserve a table.  Doors open at 5pm and you can taste some delicious, award-winning wines at their wine bar and check out the menu for some tasty bites from Chef Frank. He’s serving all your favorite Wood-fired Pizzas!  These are 12” pizzas on their local honey and extra virgin olive oil dough. Fans rave about his Crispy Parmesan Brussel Sprouts tossed in shaved Paemigiano cheese with lemon and garlic butter! You can order his Burger, Loft Salad or Caesar Salad with tossed romaine hearts in a classic citrus Caesar dressing, croutons and shaved Parmesan-Reggiano cheese. Top it off with New Orleans Beignets! Yum!

Rev up your engines! Join the crew at East Brother for a day full of vintage cars, live music, food and fun for the entire family at the 7th Annual Summer Classic. Expect a stunning lineup of classic cars, live music, delicious food and award-winning craft beers! It’s all happening on Sunday, August 25 from 12-8pm.

The Summer Classic is a great way of paying homage to iconic cars and the people who meticulously care for them. This is where Bay Area car owners and admirers connect while soaking up the sunshine with a cold one. Vote for your favorite cars. The top two voted cars will get to take home the Gold Growler Trophy.
