The Experience, Alameda: Faction Brewing New Beer

The Experience:

Branching out!

Consider this their ‘hold my beer’ moment. Faction Brewing is branching out with a Sahti!

Branching Out is a wild farmhouse ale loaded with fonio grain from West Africa, Belgian Munich malt, flaked rye, juniper berries, cedar branches, and if all that wasn’t interesting enough, they plopped in some Hersbrucker hops! [5.8%]

Rustic. Herbal. Different in the best way. Draft only. So you have to get down to Faction and branch out with them!

Faction Brewing’s Hours: Wed/Thu 2-8pm; Fri/Sat 12-8pm; Sun 12-6pm. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase. They  have a large outdoor patio and indoor seating is also available. Call to confirm hours (510) 523-2739.

The Experience, Richmond: East Brother Beer Co Summer Beer

The Experience:

Your beer. The way you like it.

You open the fridge. There it is—lined up, cold, ready. East Brother Blonde Ale. Not just a beer, but your beer. The one that doesn’t need an occasion, because it is the occasion.

Pours a rich golden, crystal clear with that perfect white head. You catch the subtle aroma—bread crust and honey, a whisper of earthy hops.

First sip? Smooth, crisp, a touch of grainy sweetness. Every sip reminds you: this is what beer’s supposed to taste like. It’s not flashy. It’s not trying too hard. It’s just right. A fridge staple, brewed with intention in Richmond.

A blonde ale is an easy-drinking beer that is visually appealing and has no particularly dominating malt or hop characteristics. It’s an American classic known for its simplicity. And it’s light –  ABV: 4.2%

Order online or get on down to East Brother to stock up for those laid-back summer evenings.
