Immerse yourself in some amazing blues on Saturday, March 9, 2-5pm.

Red’s Blues is back at Riggers Loft, that beautiful spot on San Francisco Bay with amazing views.

This four-piece band from Sacramento will be a treat. The great thing is that they are all members of the Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame!

Specializing in traditional blues, as well as original Americana/Roots music, you will know why Red’s Blue Band has been twice nominated for a SAMMIE award for ‘best blues band in the NorCal region’.

  • Beth Reid-Grigsby, on lead vocals and harmonies
  • RW Grigsby on bass and vocals
  • Doug Crumpacker, guitar, harmonica and vocals
  • Tim Wilbur on drums/percussion and vocals.

Tucked away on the shore of Point Richmond, Riggers Loft offers stunning front-row views of the San Francisco Bay. A working winery, the vibe is casual and cool, with a grand piano and great acoustics for singing (the owners are musicians themselves!).

  • Friday, January 26, 6-9pm – Lee Waterman Trio. Experience Jazz standards, Blues, and Bossa Nova with well-known guitarist Lee Waterman performing with veterans Tim Campbell (keys) and Jim Thorne (drums) to recreate the swinging sounds of great guitar/organ combos from the 50’s & 60’s.
  • Saturday, January 27, 2-5pm – Key Elements will entertain you with Latin Jazz and those infectious exotic rhythms. A Latin Jazz ensemble comprised of some of the SF Bay area’s most seasoned instrumentalists who perform exceptional original and Latin/Brazilian Jazz classics.
  • Sunday, January 28, 2-5pm – experience traditional blues and Americana/Roots music with Red’s Blues Band. This four-piece band features Beth Reid-Grigsby, aka Sacramento Red, on lead vocals and harmonies, and who was inducted into the Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame in 2023. Traditional blues, as well as a lot of original Americana/Roots music.

The Experience, Alameda: The Preacher’s Daughter Wine Bar & Bistro Music

The Experience:

Old World wines meet R&B!

Step into the warmth of the Old World in a beautifully restored building that says ‘Alameda’. This unique wine bar & café named in honor of the owner Dianah Rodriguez’s father, is featuring The Lost Cats on Sunday, January 14 at 2pm. Cozy up to the bar and try a local or Old World wine and order one of their tasty flatbreads.

The Lost Cats will play jazz, both Latin and vintage, and rhythm and blues for two hours. You can get up and dance or just relax and listen. Band leader Jim Passard says, “I play this kind of music because I like the rhythm…and I play with great people and get to play some of my favorite songs.”

Not available Sunday? Join them for Happy Hour Tue-Fri from 3-6pm. Special pricing for snacks or order from the main menu of locally sourced ingredients.
