It’s beer time down at East Brother Beer Co. With a dozen beers on tap, you can choose one to fit your mood. Try the golden, noble, lemony and award-winning BO PILS, the happy, bright, dry GOLD IPA, or the roasty, chocolate, complex RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT to get started.

La Santa Torta’s famous Birria Tacos are waiting for you, where you can now have your favorite beer on the patio or inside in the taproom . They are following all state and county mandates to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can help them by wearing a mask and maintaining proper social distancing. With 26-foot tall ceilings and wide, floor-to-ceiling roll-up doors, their taproom offers a spacious place to enjoy a great beer with your family or social bubble. They can’t wait to see you all at the taproom.

East Brother is Open for Outdoor Dining or Curbside Pickup!

La Santa Torta’s famous Birria Tacos are waiting for you down at 1001 Canal Blvd, where you can now have your favorite beer on the patio. They are following all state and county mandates to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can help them by wearing a mask and maintaining proper social distancing.

To prevent long lines, they are asking everyone to reserve a table before arriving at the taproom.

While there, don’t forget to try their first seasonal release of the year: English Strong? This English Ale falls somewhere in between an English Pale Ale and an English Barley Wine. Their iteration of this Ale has a rich malt flavor and delicious notes of caramel and dark fruit.

Hours: Wednesday and Thursday from 3-7p and Friday – Sunday from 1-7pm. Make a reservation online or give them a call. (510) 230-4081. Our New Year’s Eve celebration, like this whole year, is going to look very different. But, with East Brother Beer Co’s curbside pickup, shipping and local delivery program, you can safely ring in the new year with all your favorite beers. Taproom + Outdoor Dining +  Beer Thy Neighbor: Now Open Wednesdays – Sundays!

Join the passionate crew at East Brother Beer Co. for a classic beer on their patio Wed-Fri, 4-8pm and Sat-Sun, 2-8pm.   As you know, they put Pride and Purpose into everything they do and after much reflection and planning, opened up their outdoor area for dining with beer served from their taproom. With that same care, they are now planning to open for indoor dining soon!

“Our taproom team worked tirelessly to make sure that the experience here is safe and comfortable for everyone,” commented East Brother Beer Co co-owner Rob Lightner. “We want you to safely enjoy our draft beers and have set our  Covid Safety Guidelines for all to follow.” You are required to wear your face mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking at your table and to keep 6’ apart from other guests and staff. “And as much as we love all of your furry friends, pets at this time are not allowed.” They are currently only seating reservations.

And starting today, anyone who visits their taproom can pay it forward by purchasing a $3 “Beer thy Neighbor” Beer for someone who comes in after them. Your purchase gets you a tag, where you can write your name and a social media handle so you can connect virtually with a new neighbor, or you can choose to remain anonymous, totally up to you!

Be sure to check their website for all safety guidelines. Make a reservation and when you arrive, you will be directed to your table by staff. According to state mandate, guests must order a meal with their beer. The good news is that La Santa Torta will be on hand, along with other food purveyors. Please note that their patio has little shade and can get windy, so bring appropriate protection. But most of all, make a reservation online and then enjoy your old haunt again with your favorite beer on tap.
