It’s Time for a Classic Beer – On Tap!

After having to drink only canned and bottled beer for months now, aren’t you just dying to have a tasty draft beer? Beer on tap is back!  East Brother Beer Co.’s passionate people still focused on brewing classic styles of beer during the pandemic and now are opening up on weekends to serve you. As you know, they put Pride and Purpose into everything they do and after much reflection and planning, they have opened up their outdoor area for dining with beer served from their taproom.

“Our taproom team worked tirelessly to make sure that the experience here is safe and comfortable for everyone,” commented East Brother Beer Co co-owner Rob Lightner. “We want you to safely enjoy our draft beers again and have set our  Covid Safety Guidelines for all to follow.” You are required to wear your face mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking at your table and to keep 6’ apart from other guests and staff. “We are asking all guests to help keep the bathrooms to single use to provide a safe social distance,” continues Rob. “And as much as we love all of your furry friends, pets at this time are not allowed.”

Make a reservation and when you arrive, check in at their host tent. You will be directed to your table by staff. According to state mandate, guests must order a meal with their beer. The good news is that La Santa Torta will be on hand, so guests can nosh on their famous birria tacos. Present a credit or debit card (no cash)  at the beginning of service to open a tab. Please note that their patio has little shade and can get windy, so bring appropriate protection. But most of all, make a reservation online and then enjoy your old haunt again with your favorite beer on tap. Patio open Fri 4-8pm, Sat- Sun 2-8pm.

Imagine what beer tasted like in the Pre-Prohibition era in the U.S. over 100 years ago and meet East Brother Beer Co’s Pre-Pro Lager. It’s a nod to classic styles but with a twist. It’s no secret that at East Brother, they’re into traditional beers and the labor it takes to make great beer. This beer embodies those values perfectly. It’s an ode to the beginnings of American beer traditions and set the crew at East Brother on a journey to rediscover what beer tasted like over a century ago. This one-of-its-kind lager recipe has a crisp Cluster Hop presence, a bit of corn and barley flavor, with barley malted by Admiral Maltings of Alameda, and a clean finish.

Their limited edition, seasonal Pre-Pro Lager is available at local retail locations, and for order with curbside pickup from their taproom, or shipping anywhere in California, $15 for 4-pack. Curbside pickup is available Wednesday – Sunday from 2 pm – 7pm.
