The Experience:

Blueberry Dogpatch Sour’s Debut + Beer Week Events!

New sour alert! Almanac’s Dogpatch series is named after the neighborhood in San Francisco where Almanac was born. This limited-edition blueberry twist started with a classic Flanders red ale base that then aged for months in oak wine barrels with fresh blueberries from Sierra Cascade Blueberry Farm, a family-owned and operated farm in the foothills east of Chico, CA. The farm has been certified organic since 1993, and they’re thrilled to feature their incredible berries in this one-of-a-kind sour.

Blueberry Dogpatch Sour is available NOW in the taproom and shipping via our webstore. Rolling into limited distribution next week!

The Experience, Alameda: Almanac Beer Co. Expands

The Experience:

Tap those Award-winning Brews in Unique New Environments!

Besides the Taproom and Beer Garden, Almanac now has a new Backyard and Lounge to enjoy your beer in whichever environment fits your mood.

They transformed an empty 8,400-square-foot grass lot into what is now their very own backyard, replete with a 1967 Airstream bar, shade structures, games, amplified music, and food trucks. The Backyard has its own restrooms and plenty of free on-street parking. You can bring your own picnic or order from the rotating food trucks.

The Lounge was transformed from a 1,000 sq foot office space into a chill vast room with soaring 25’ ceilings and 15’ sliding doors that open onto the outdoor beer garden for plenty of fresh air and sunshine. You’ll feel right at home with the eclectic art, jungle of indoor plants, faerie lights, electric fireplaces, and uniquely odd antiques. The Lounge is Almanac’s first 21 and over space, while the rest of the areas remain family friendly and open to all ages.

Both The Backyard and The Lounge are open Saturdays 12-10pm and Sundays 12-8pm. t: 415-992-3438 Ext. 1
