Meet the Captain

You’ll meet the accomplished, Captain Laura Parent, at the helm. At the young age of 23, she received her 100-ton USCG master’s license, raced on J24s throughout the Caribbean, and became Second Mate for Lindbald Expeditions, sailing in Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and Baja’s Sea of Cortez. Laura is passionate about teaching women to sail and instilling in them the confidence to be the captain of their own ship! Her first mate is Madeline Somers. Questions?
