Come down to the water and try Riggers’ Sangria Waves! It’s a Sangria made from white wine, instead of the traditional red, and fresh fruit. One may not be enough!

Plus, they have an exciting afternoon of music for you on Saturday, June 14 at 2pm! The BRAZILIAN PROJECT will move you with Samba and Bossa Nova from Rio, country dance music from the Northeast of Brazil and Jazz from Sao Paulo.

Brazilian jazz is also about beautiful, flowing harmony and memorable melodies. They play the music of great Brazilian composers – and some of their own songs too. It’s Samba, Bossa Nova, Samba-Funk, Baiao, Forro, Frevo, Choro, Mojo and beats they don’t have names for!

While sipping and vibing, enjoy some tasty bites from Chef Frank Miller’s pop-up Kitchen Loft. Here’s what’s on the menu:

Pizzas: All pizzas are 12″ pizza and on their local honey/extra virgin olive oil dough. Margherita, Roasted Veggie, Artisan Italian Sausage or Pepperoni and the Cote D’azur with shrimp and pesto. Gluten-free options are available upon request. Pop up also includes Loft House Salad, Caesar Salad and Crispy Brussel Sprouts tossed in shaved Parmigiano cheese with lemon juice and garlic butter. Yum. And of course, for Dessert: New Orleans Beignets.

The Experience:

Discover some new wines!

Warm up your evening on Friday, March 14th from 6-9pm at Riggers Loft and you will be treated to some great live music while you explore their wine options and find new favorites! A great way to kick off your weekend with well known guitarist Lee Waterman and All-Star musicians Tim Campbell (keys) from the band Malo and Gerry Kennett (drums), formerly with Beach Blanket Babylon. Together they’ll recreate the grooving sounds of great guitar/organ combos from the 60’s & 70’s; such bands as George Benson w/Jack McDuff and Wes Montgomery w/Jimmy Smith. The repertoire will include jazz classics, blues, and funky Latin grooves. Don’t miss out. $5 cover.

With some soulful saxophone and vocals, settle in for an afternoon of New Orleans jazz and soul. Saturday January 11th.

Sunday January 12^th LOST IN THE FOG – The electric upbeat sounds of Latin, Funk, Jazz, and Soul…that’s the focus of this incredibly fun and upbeat group. Expect lively rhythms, rich melodies, an energetic vibe, and soulful depth.

It’s going to be sunny on Saturday! Head down to the water to Riggers Loft for an afternoon of great wine, great views, tasty bites and great tunes! It’s a sip and vibe day.

Sat., Nov. 16th Corner Pocket, a Bay-area based blues, soul, classic rock, R&B and funk band, will play from 2-5pm.

Expect to hear tunes from Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Sly & The Family Stone, Tom Petty, Pretenders, Al Green, Steely Dan, Susan Tedeschi, Aretha Franklin and more.

Born from the vibrant music scene of the San Francisco Bay Area, Corner Pocket, formerly, ‘Fawson’, is a powerhouse 9-piece band that’s taking the local music scene by storm.
