Get ready for some Halloween fun on the tasting room tarmac (10/30 & 10/31).

  • A special flight paired with some of their favorite Halloween candy/snacks
  • All wines in the flight will be 20% off (40% for Club Members) for any bottles you want to take home and enjoy.

  • Scolari’s Good Eats At The Point will be serving up all the good stuff for your noshing needs

On Halloween (Sunday) DJ Zhaldee will be spinning an awesome mix (1-5pm) and we are having a costume contest! Prizes for: best group costume, best villain, best DIY, and best couple. So, pull on the costume and  join them for some sipping and a chance to win great prizes.

Cyclone Beers Crush It!

First there was DDH, then TDH…how do you pack more hop madness into an IPA?

Faction first debuted Citra Cyclone last year, using 6 different forms of Citra. This year they’ve made 4 Cyclone beers, with Citra and Mosaic receiving a 7th hop product, Spectrum, which imparts added hop aroma, in the fermenter. “Faction absolutely crushed it on their Cyclone series, featuring 7 forms of the same hop per beer!” comments Sunday Cyclone taster, Jamie Waldear. “Powerful amounts of tropical notes take over the pallet. Would highly recommend! 10/10.”

These massively hopped IPAs celebrate the essence, flavors, and aromas of each unique hop by using at least 6 different hop products per beer.

Check out their Sampler Box or order single 4 pks of Citra Cyclone, Sabro Cyclone, Ekuanot Citra, and Mosaic Cyclone. Patio hours: W/Th 2-8pm; F/Sa 12-8pm; Su 12-6pm.

And before you leave, do give yourself a treat by browsing their curated collection of hand crafted jewelry including their own beautiful expanded line – Bamboo Jewelry. It’s hand crafted by fusing kiln fired powdered glass onto a sterling silver foundation, a centuries old process known as cloisonné – showcasing favorite birds, whales and other marine animals, panda bears, elephants, turtles, butterflies, and more.

Brews with Views!

Did you know Faction is situated near not one, but two Ferry Terminals? Their brewers are  excited to collaborate with San Francisco Bay Ferry on their Brews with Views project to celebrate three communities connected by SF Bay Ferry routes. Faction is, of course, celebrating Alameda with Hop On!

Alameda’s Faction Brewing Co.: Hop On! – a West Coast style Pale Ale hopped with El Dorado, Chinook, and Simcoe.

Their ‘ferry-well-situated’ friends and neighbors to the north Mare Island Brewing Co. and East Brother Beer Company also brewed ferry-themed beers for this project.

Vallejo’s Mare Island Brewing Co.: Ferry No. 2 IPA -.a juicy IPA highlighting South African hops, named after one of the most storied ferries to ever serve our Bay Area waters.

Richmond’s East Brother Beer Co.: Ferry Good Pale Ale – an English style Pale Ale, golden bronze, with noticeable hop bitterness – clean crisp, with a subtle herbal finish.

Faction invites you to find Hop On in cans in their  taproom and on select routes aboard the SF Bay Ferry! Check out San Francisco Bay Ferry for more info on which routes to find all the beers! Of course, you can always Hop On the ferry and visit Mare Island Brewing and East Brother and grab a 4pk from the source!
