The Experience: Dee Spot Café

In this together. More than just a community café.

Dee Spot Café, dubbed one of the best places for Bagels in the Bay Area by the SF Chronicle, is a community gathering place where Asian Fusion meets American Comfort Food and the espresso drinks are hard to beat in taste and presentation.

During this time Dee Cafe also offers essential grocery items and supplies. While ordering from their menu to go, you can also order from this list of goods for pickup: masks, sanitizer, toilet paper, yeast, flour, eggs, rubbing alcohol –  limit 2/customer. If you need something you cannot find, call and ask.

Dee Spot is always involved in its  community. According to owner Chan Vanthin,  “Working in collaboration with the Emeryville Economic Development Department, we were able to  donate a large amount of goods such as toilet paper, wet wipes, disinfectants and canned goods to the Assisted Living Program of COVID-19 here in Emeryville.” And during the month of May, they gave away free caffeine to anyone who worked in relationship to hospitals and/or was fighting and trying to save lives

Delivery available on their website.  Phone orders also accepted for pickups 510-879-7026. Open: 8am-3pm.
