Looking to spice up your Wednesday evenings? East Brother Beer Co.’s Rec Room League is just the place for you. Check out their new summertime beers and get in the games!

Each Wednesday they host their Rec Room League, where members can compete in games like ping pong, bocce, or scrabble against fellow Rec Room members. They have quarterly play-offs for the season’s top players for prizes and bragging rights.

How can you join? For a $40 membership, you’ll receive a league t-shirt, membership card, and button, along with $1 off every beer on Wednesday.

The Experience:

Summer Vacation Sipping!

Whether you spend your summer lost in the wilderness, next to the grill, or floating down a river, East Brother has two new beers for you. Try their Pre-Pro Lager and West Coast Style Double IPA.

Light in color, and only 5.5% ABV, their  Pre-Pro Lager will keep you cool and refreshed all day long. The Pre-Prohibition Lager, part of the Lager Series, is their take on the quintessential American Lager, the kind of Lager folks were drinking long before Prohibition. It pairs perfectly with anything you grill.

Their second summer release is a  West Coast Style Double IPA bursting with tropical notes of papaya, mango, and pineapple. This malty Ale, part of their Freighter Series, has a slightly bitter finish with some subtle alcohol warmth. Coming in at 8.8% ABV, it transitions perfectly from the pool to the dinner table and pairs with the sauciest of BBQ sauces.

You can find East Brother Beers at your favorite retailers, including Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Safeway, and Raley’s, along with hundreds of independently owned shops.

It’s beer time down at East Brother Beer Co. With a dozen beers on tap, you can choose one to fit your mood. Try the golden, noble, lemony and award-winning BO PILS, the happy, bright, dry GOLD IPA, or the roasty, chocolate, complex RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT to get started.

La Santa Torta’s famous Birria Tacos are waiting for you, where you can now have your favorite beer on the patio or inside in the taproom . They are following all state and county mandates to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can help them by wearing a mask and maintaining proper social distancing. With 26-foot tall ceilings and wide, floor-to-ceiling roll-up doors, their taproom offers a spacious place to enjoy a great beer with your family or social bubble. They can’t wait to see you all at the taproom.

La Santa Torta’s famous Birria Tacos are waiting for you down at 1001 Canal Blvd, where you can now have your favorite beer on the patio. They are following all state and county mandates to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can help them by wearing a mask and maintaining proper social distancing.

To prevent long lines, they are asking everyone to reserve a table before arriving at the taproom.

While there, don’t forget to try their first seasonal release of the year: English Strong? This English Ale falls somewhere in between an English Pale Ale and an English Barley Wine. Their iteration of this Ale has a rich malt flavor and delicious notes of caramel and dark fruit.

Hours: Wednesday and Thursday from 3-7p and Friday – Sunday from 1-7pm. Make a reservation online or give them a call. (510) 230-4081.
