Red’s Blues is back at Riggers Loft, that beautiful spot on San Francisco Bay with amazing views.

This four-piece band from Sacramento will be a treat. The great thing is that they are all members of the Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame!

Specializing in traditional blues, as well as original Americana/Roots music, you will know why Red’s Blue Band has been twice nominated for a SAMMIE award for ‘best blues band in the NorCal region’.

Featuring:

  • Beth Reid-Grigsby, on lead vocals and harmonies
  • RW Grigsby on bass and vocals
  • Doug Crumpacker, guitar, harmonica and vocals
  • Tim Wilbur on drums/percussion and vocals.

Come and check it out. You’ll be glad you did. Plenty of room for large parties, an amazing selection of specialty wines, cider, food and a reasonable door charge, which goes toward paying the band.

Just what you need on a rainy day – – Tortilla Soup!

Or you may want to try one of their other soups:

  • Sopa de Elote – a creamy corn soup
  • Consume de Pollo – shredded chicken, broth and vegetables
  • Caldo Tlalpeno – chicken, carrots, zucchini, garbanzo beans, chipotle-chicken broth
  • Sopa de Camarón – tomato base, fish broth, Mexican spices, prawns.
  • And on Sat & Sun Pozole Rojo – tender pieces of pork slowly simmered in a chile guajillo broth with hominy served with chopped cabbage, radishes and limes!

Tucked away on the shore of Point Richmond, Riggers Loft offers stunning front-row views of the San Francisco Bay. A working winery, the vibe is casual and cool, with a grand piano and great acoustics for singing (the owners are musicians themselves!).

Enjoy bubbly from R&B Cellars, and a sumptuous buffet of savory bites and desserts curated by Chef Frank Miller. Bid on a selection of art, wine, jewelry, experiences and more, in their live and silent auctions.

Mom and Pop Art Shop is a little shop located in the artsy community of Point Richmond featuring rotating artists from all around the world, one-of-a-kind toys, jewelry and creative activities, like puzzles and assorted toys that help expand a child’s imagination. The Experience, Richmond: Richmond Art Center Exhibit

The Experience:

Art of the African Diaspora 2024

Fill your weekend with art. Now in its 27th year, Art of the African Diaspora continues to express and celebrate the creative achievements of artists of African descent. Over 150 artists showcase their work at Richmond Art Center, as well as in open studios and satellite exhibitions at different venues around the Bay Area. The exhibit runs through March 16, 2024.

Artistic Achievement Award Winners from 2023/2024 and featured artists in the exhibition are John Broussard, Valerie Brown-Troutt, Stacy Mootoo, Deborah Butler, Kim Champion and Carrie Lee McClish.

The exhibition also includes a special tribute to the late Hilda Robinson, a beloved artist whose vivid pastels captured joy, love of family, and community in celebrations of life.
