Celebrate Earth Month at Trader Vic’s & Plant a Tree!

Tree Breeze and Long Island Iced Tree Cocktails

Don’t just celebrate Earth Day, celebrate Earth Month in a very cool and refreshing way at Trader Vic’s during the month of April. Adding to their collection of over 200 Signature Cocktails (including the original Mai Tai), their special cocktails this month are a Tree Breeze and a Long Island Iced Tree.

Partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to give back to Mother Earth this year, Trader Vic’s will plant one tree on behalf of each of their patrons for every cocktail sold. Trader Vic’s invites you to Paradise to enjoy these refreshing island drinks and “and help make our planet a better place one cocktail at a time!”

Also in April – on Fri., April 22 Trader Vic’s is offering a Cocktail Workshop where you will learn techniques in the art of The Trader’s Mixology while enjoying your own creations and snacking on tasty tidbits. You will explore select cocktails from the Bartender’s Guide by Trader Vic. Read more.

Emeryville’s Shoreline Cleanup! Sat., Apr. 23, 2016

Help keep our Bay healthy and clean up Emeryville’s shoreline for Earth Day! This year the City of Emeryville will be hosting an “Earth Day in Action” event by organizing our local Shoreline Park cleanup.

When: Saturday, April 23rd, 2016
Time: 9 am – noon
Location: Shorebird Park, Emeryville, Meet at Chevy’s Restaurant, 1890 Powell St. in Emeryville

Meet in the parking lot at 9am at Chevy’s Restaurant for registration and a brief training by the Fire Department, and then head down to the beach to clean up the Shoreline.

Please bring reusable collection bags or buckets, water bottles, coffee mugs, garden gloves and digging claws. Supplies will be provided for those who cannot bring their own. Free refreshments will be available for volunteers.

Participants advise you to wear sunscreen, sturdy shoes, layered clothing and a hat.
