This Friday, 7/2/21, Judy’s Place Cafe is  serving up a special and delicious Pork BBQ Sandwich on a brioche bun with Coleslaw, Mac and Cheese, and a refreshing Cucumber Watermelon Feta Cheese Salad. The pork is cooked with lots of spices, herbs, and root beer. One person serving is $19.95 + tax. You may place your orders on their Facebook post or call the restaurant 510 787 7768. Pickup is at 5pm on Friday. Known for their Pupusas, BBQ, Yuca fries with Carnitas, and more! Hours: M-F 11am-7pm.

In the days of Covid-19, eating out isn’t much of a social experience. But standing in line at Judy’s Place, in the shade of the little yellow-painted restaurant lined with pots of flowers, six-feet apart and masked, you’re sure to chat with a fellow recipient of the flavors of the week. Whether it’s Pupusas, BBQ, Yuca fries with Carnitas, or another of an endless number of mouth watering recipes, the dish is announced on facebook for pre-orders at the beginning of the week, and you’ll have a few days to anticipate to your Friday pickup.
